A torque multiplier is a gear box, which works on the principle of epicyclical gearing. The given load at the input gets multiplied as per the multiplication factor and transmitted to the output, thereby achieving greater load with minimal effort. The BETA 560/C2 Torque Multiplier is one such device, and certainly one of great repute.
When any craftsman thinks of professional hand tools, one company’s name flashes in his mind, which is Beta Utensili. This company has been leaders in production and sales of professional tools since 1880; this company was formed in Northern Italy by the Ciceri family. The company activle practices the philosophy of the highest levels of perfection possible. The Beta name is always at the forefront of torque multiplier technology, innovation and development. Continued interaction and interface with its end users, R&D into materials and engineering processes are the fundamentals behind Beta Utensili. Essentially, the best torque multipliers are manufactured by BETA.
Tightening value should be considered accordingly when setting the torque wrench; mount the reaction foot or lever on the multiplier, fix it with the screw and the required socket. Place the multiplier on the hexagon, rotating it by hand until the reaction foot or lever firmly stands on a wall/nut etc. Put the male square of the torque wrench into the female square of the multiplier and tighten as much as needed. As the force is accumulated inside is released, you should rotate the multiplier in the opposite direction. You should be great cautious while performing the operation to avoid any damages to things and/or people.
Be very careful that you should not exceed the MAX input value. To tighten, use impact sockets only, according to the MAX torque values applicable to the individual sockets. While using any extension bars, it is recommended that the multiplier should be perfectly aligned while tightening; extension bars exceeding 250 mm in length should not be used.
